XIV. Processing and Issuance of Wiring/Electrical Permit for Indigents

No person, firm or corporation including any agency or instrumentality of the government shall do wiring installation in any existing structure without first securing Wiring Permit from the Office of the Building Official. It is a mandate to every Power Utility Service Providers to include Wiring Permit to their requirements for applicants requesting for power supply.

Step 1

Submit the accomplished Application Form for Electrical Permit and other documents

Agency Action :
Receive the documents and verify for relevance and completeness. If complete, return the documents to applicant and advise him/her to proceed to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) to secure Fire Safety Clearance (For Wiring Installation). If not, return the documents to applicant for compliance

Proceed to the Bureau of Fire Protection to secure Fire Safety Clearance (For Wiring Installation)

Return to the receiving section and submit the Fire Safety Clearance (For Wiring Installation) and other documents

Agency Action :
Receive the Fire Safety Clearance and other documents. The Building Official signs the Electrical Permit for Wiring Installation with the Electrical Engineer of the Building Office as co-signatory.
