XVI. Processing and Issuance of Certificate of Annual Inspection

An Annual Inspection is done to ensure safety and compliance to the National Building Code. It is also required if there are any changes in the existing use or occupancy classification of a building, structure or any portion thereof. It is also a requirement before the application of a Business Permit

Step 1

Submits requirements as listed in the checklist

Agency Action :
Receive documents and verify for relevance and completeness

Fees to be Paid: None

Processing Time : 30 minutes

Receiving officer

Step 2

Joins with the MEO personnel in the conduct of inspection

Agency Action :
Site inspection by personnel  of the Municipal Engineering Office.

Fees to be Paid: None

Processing Time : 1 hour 30 minutes

MEO personnel

Step 3

Receives the Order of Payment

Agency Action :
Prepares the Order of Payment and hand-in to the applicant

Fees to be Paid: Refer to the Table of Fees

Processing Time : 30 minutes

Person Responsible:
Evaluation personnel

Step 4

Pay the necessary fees and charges to the designated cashiering area and surrender the Official Receipt to the receiving section

Agency Action :
Receives the Official Receipt. The Building Official and authorized personnel sign the Certificate of Annual Inspection.

Step 5

Claim the Certificate of Annual Inspection

Releasing officer records important details of the document in the logbook. Release the document
